Edward L Mccabe

Edward Lemuel McCabe passed away peacefully on Monday, December 21, 2020. He was born in Snow Hill, Maryland to Edward and Belle McCabe. From a young age, Edward developed his talent as an artist, and he earned a scholarship to the Maryland Institute College of Art where he earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts.  In addition to his life as a public servant for the U.S. Government Printing office and U.S. Department of State, Edward had other notable life achievements including earning a certificate from the U.S. Army Combat Engineers, as well as a Juris Doctorate degree.  Later in life, Edward became an ordained minister which led him to author and publish a book about his ultimate promise to the Lord.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Edward and Belle McCabe, and his brother, Paul McCabe.

He is survived by his beloved wife Janice Genevieve McCabe; James McCabe (Son), Julie Hellmer (Daughter), Jacqui McCabe (Daughter-in-law), Rich Hellmer (Son-in-law) and 4 grandchildren, Jacob, Jenna, Emily, and Andrew.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, only a private family service will be held at Donaldson Funeral home. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
