Dorothy Gertrude (Fritsche) Vaniel

Dorothy (Dottie) F. Vaniel,born November 24, 1931 in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania to Elizabeth Honer and Anthony Fritsche.  She passed away on February 7, 2022.  She resided in Fulton Maryland.   She was a loving mother, sister and beloved by many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Richard M Vaniel.  She is survived by her Daughter Marcie Kapaldo and her husband Glen Long, grandchildren Kevin Wade Long, Heather and Gilbert Barela and great grandchildren Anissa, Garrett and Gracyn. She is also survived by her sister Betty Lucas.

Dottie and Rich traveled extensively after Rich retired at age 60.  Their favorite places of travel were Vietnam and India.  Throughout their travels they met many friends from all over the United States.  Dottie maintained email contact with most of these new friends.  Her favorite pastime was reading.

Dottie is taking her final journey and will be laid to rest at Fort Bliss National Cemetery in El Paso, TX with her husband.
