Donald R. Wickesser, Jr

Donald Wickesser Jr. passed away at his home in Mt. Airy, MD on July 15, 2019.  He was employed for 44 years before retiring from Schuster Concrete in Owings Mills, MD.   Don was a loving husband, father, and  ‘Pop Pop’ who enjoyed driving his Corvette, eating crabs, working in the yard and spending time with loved ones.

He is survived by his wife of 36 years Joan Wickesser; his children Donald Wickesser  III (Maureen), Dawn Jennings, Jon Handiboe (Gayle) and Debbi Compton (Russ); his grandchildren Tyler, Brandon, Claire, Rusty, Mckenna, and Miles; his brother Craig Wickesser, his sister Kim Rahimi (Ron Miles); his brothers-in-law Tommy Miles (Becky) and Bobby Miles (Sandra); his aunt Donna Ward, along with many nieces and nephews. His parents Donald R. Wickesser Sr. and Dorothy Wickesser preceded him in death.

Family and friends may visit Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD on Thursday, July 18, 2019 from 10:00am to 12:00pm, where a service will be held at 12:00 pm.  Burial to follow at Mt. Zion UMC Cemetery, Highland, MD.
