Donald Eugene & Allen Mae Souder

On February 14, 2019, Allen Mae Souder, 81 years old, passed away after suffering from multiple health issues.   She was born to Mae Eileen Osbourne Cook on March 7, 1937 in Charlestown, West Virginia. She was an extremely talented baker, seamstress and homemaker.  She was also an entrepreneur and enjoyed many hobbies including traveling and crafting of all types. Allen Mae is survived by her sisters, Janet Goodman and Anna Hultin.  She was preceded in death by her mother and her brother, Billy Cook.

Donald Eugene Souder, age 85, passed away peacefully on October 17, 2019.  He was born to Elsie Lurean (Scaggs) Souder and Eugene Douglas Souder of Scaggsville, Maryland on September 16, 1934. Donald enjoyed his construction business of building custom homes and commercial buildings for over 50 years, and his love of horses and corvettes.  For many years he was involved in cutting horses and rodeos and eventually racing horses became his hobby as well. Donald is survived by his 2 brothers, Raymond Souder and Weldon Souder.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Clyde Souder.

Allen Mae and Donald are survived by their children, Donna, Linda, Wayde, and Neil, 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to celebrate the lives of both Allen Mae and Donald Eugene Souder at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., Clarksville, Maryland 21029 on Saturday, December 14, 2019, from 1:00 to 4:00pm with a time of remembrance to begin at 2:00pm.
