Excelling in your education, you gave others inspiration.

Serving in the Navy, you helped the cause of freedom which allows us all to live our lives according to our beliefs.

Working in the space program you gave us knowledge of a world much greater than any we could have imagined.

Working with the church gave peace and comfort to those in need.

For more than 75 years, Dad was an amazing father and role model to his family. He was a devoted parent whose every decision was made based on the best interest of the family. In addition to being a hard-working provider, Dad was a man of values and ethics. These values grew from his strong and unwavering faith in God and the Catholic Church. Though a man of few words, Dad also taught and modeled, for all of us, the attributes of honesty, generosity and compassion.

Dad was born in Naples, Italy in 1923. When he was only a baby, his father immigrated to the United States while Dad and his mother remained in Italy for several more years. In 1929, he and his mother arrived at Ellis Island, New York and reunited with his father.

Dad, his parents, and four younger siblings lived primarily in Washington, DC. As an adult, he understood his duty to his country and enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he honorably served his country for 10 years.

While in the military, Dad graduated Villanova University in 1945 with a degree in engineering. He continued his public service when he began his career with the federal government. This career concluded with his retirement from NASA in 1978.

As one of Dad’s many legacies, he is survived by his family of 59 children, grandchildren & great grandchildren.
