Dominga Aquino

October 12, 1945 — March 24, 2021

Clarksville, Maryland

Dominga Aquino, a much beloved 75-year-old, a resident of Clarksville Maryland, passed and went to heaven on 24 March 2021 after a battle with cancer.

She was born in Cavite, Philippines.  Dominga made her way to the United States in 1968, and became a proud citizen in 1975.

A devout Catholic, she spent almost every day in service to Jesus.  She was always available to volunteer for events, especially ones that included children, as she dedicated much of her life to the care of children.  She also enjoyed gardening, cooking traditional Filipino food and watching Tiger Woods play golf.

Dominga is preceded in death by her mother Felisa Aquino, brother Ricardo Aquino and sister Nemesia Aquino.  Dominga was instrumental in caring for eight children during her life.  Her unwavering love and devotion helped guide Jeff Vista, Gigi Nugent, Marcella Goodnight and Albert Vista into adulthood.  After this successful endeavor, she shared her love and helped Lindsey Goodnight, Zachary Goodnight, Ashley Goodnight and Cody Goodnight through adolescence and young adulthood.  Dominga was truly proud of each one of the children and loved them dearly.

Dominga lived a spiritual life of selfless service to other people.  Her acceptance, patience, compassion and love for everyone she met will be missed by all.  She lived a life of unshakeable faith and true goodness.
