Diana L. Kraus

Diana (Dee) Kirshner Kraus passed away peacefully at Georgetown University Hospital after a short battle with cancer on Saturday, March 29, 2025.  She was born on July 27, 1945 in Washington, DC.  She leaves behind her husband, Daniel J.  Kraus, Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jeffrey.

Dee retired from Verizon as a manager where she had worked since high school. She found much joy in knitting, quilting, crocheting and reading.

In honor of Dee's memory, memorial contributions may be made to the Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center (lombardi.georgetown.edu)

A Memorial Gathering will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A. 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Thursday, April 10, 2025 from 4:00 pm- 7:00 pm.
