Diana Marie Frederick, age 72 of Clarksville, MD and Kennebunkport, ME, peacefully passed away surrounded by loved ones on July 16, 2024. Born in Baltimore in 1952, she was raised by her grandparents, Nellie and Conrad Giess.
Diana was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Step-Mother. She took great pride and enjoyment in decorating her homes, and cherished spending her summers on the Ocean in Kennebunkport with her husband and family. Diana, was an exemplary human being, who cared so deeply for the people around her. She embodied the best of qualities: unconditional love, strength of spirit, and an unending generosity to all she encountered.
She is survived by her loving husband Chris Frederick, Sr. and her two daughters Stephanie (Chris) Cook and Amy Wittig. She had 5 grandchildren, Emilee Cook, Chris Cook, Josh Pursley, Grace Wittig, was preceded in death by Noel Zajcevski, and had two great-granddaughters, Peyton Ugo and Rilynn Zajcevski. She is also survived by her 5 step-children, Amy (Jamie) Davidson, Chris Frederick, Jr., Brian (Katie) Frederick, Katie Frederick and Sarah (Bart) DeLuca. Additionally, she had 10 step-grandchildren, Emma Frederick, Nash Frederick, Kayleigh Davidson, Casey Davidson, Brooke Frederick, Annie Frederick, Joey Ram, Libby Ram, Evelyn DeLuca and Michael DeLuca.
Diana was an incredible woman. To be loved by her was to be truly blessed. Her legacy, her kindness, and her compassion will carry on and live forever in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
