Deborah L. Crump

Deborah Lee Miller Crump, of Ellicott City, Maryland (formerly of Wheaton, Maryland), peacefully transitioned (although she wasn’t happy about it) from Earth to Eternal Life on November 21, 2023. She graduated from Wheaton High School in 1971 and married her high school sweetheart in October 1971. They raised their two girls in Wheaton and after 35 years moved to Ellicott City. Debbie was born in Washington, D.C., on February 5, 1953, to the late Harry and Louise Miller. She loved to puddle with flowers, she was an avid reader, loved Ocean City, Maryland and Disney World, and going to New York to see musicals. She worked at the Department of Health and Human Services for 42 years until she retired in September 2013. Debbie was loyal to a fault, kind and loving. Her main passions were her girls and her grandchildren which meant the world to her. Debbie is survived by her girls, Kimberly (Joey) Tracy, Jennifer (Josh) Killingsworth and her grans, Thomas, Camryn and Addyson Tracy and Noah, Charlize and Ethan Killingsworth, her sister, Mary Darlene Lane; her brothers, Steve, Rick and Doug Crump and many nieces and nephews. Debbie is predeceased in death by her loving husband, Charles David Crump.

A Memorial celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30 at Oakdale Church on Emory Church Road in Olney, Maryland.
