On February 16, 2020, David Hoon Seung, age 83 of Ellicott City passed away.He was born in 1936 to Young Ki Seung and Oksook Kim in Pongyang, Korea.
David Hoon Seung was an elder of the Bethel Korean Presbyterian Church, who enjoyed reading the Bible, gardening, and playing Korean Go (baduk).
He is survived by wife his Esther Seung, children Stella Choi, Sarah Kim, Steven Seung, and grandchildren Deborah Im, Rebecca Choi, Daniel Choi, Isaac Kim, Christina Seung, David K. Seung, Michael Seung, and great grandchildren Maximus Im and Mikaela Im.
Relatives and friends may visit the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 pm. An additional service will be held Saturday, February 22 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at Crest Lawn Memorial Park, 2150 Mount View Road, Marriottsville, MD 21104.
