David Steven Ferris

David Steven Ferris, passed away suddenly on March 12, 2018 at his home in Laurel, Maryland, at the age of 40. David was born in Olney, Maryland on August 29, 1977 to Steven L. Ferris and Nancy (Patty) Ferris. He graduated from Atholton High School and worked at Weis Food Market as a butcher. David was a very loving father, son, brother, cousin, and uncle.  He adored his son Fox and enjoyed their Pokemon adventures and outdoor activities. These times are lovingly referred to by Fox as “Daddy Time”. David enjoyed playing pool and spending time with his family, friends, and cousins. In addition to his parents, David is survived by his son Fox, his brother, Mark Ferris (Tammy) and his nephews Brandon Ferris and Tyler Martin, he is also survived by his former wife Amber McGovern Ferris, many loving cousins, and a host of family and friends. Relatives and friends may call at at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A. on March 17, 2018 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM. Interment private. In addition to flowers, donations can be made payable to Fox Ferris (custodial account) for future educational expenses.
