Cynthia Jean Ochs

Cynthia “Cindy” Jean (Kelley) Ochs of Columbia, Maryland, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the age of 64. Born in White Plains, New York, to Thomas and Elsa Kelley, Cindy resided in Maryland for over four decades. She dedicated her professional life to Howard County Recreation and Parks.

Cindy loved spending time with her friends, children, and grandchildren. She was a Walt Disney World Annual Passholder and visited as often as she could.

Cindy was a two-time breast cancer survivor before she turned 40.

Cindy is survived by her children, Andrew (Sarah) Ochs and Colleen (Rodney) Harris. She cherished her role as "Ganny" to Owen, Delaney, Emma, and her grand-dog, Winnie.

Cindy is also survived by her sister, Karen (Jimmy) Landry of Lexington, South Carolina and their children, as well as her former spouse, Bill.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her infant brother, Tommy.

A Visitation will be held at Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville in Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029 on Wednesday, January 29, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 30, at 10:00 AM at St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029.

In lieu of flowers, Cindy's family requests donations to the American Heart Association .
