Consuelo M. Huffman

Consuelo Millan Huffman, 86, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2019.   She was Born on March 9, 1933, in Madrid, Spain to parents Rosa and Juan Jose Millan.

In 1957 Consuelo married a southern gentleman, Roy A. Huffman, in Morocco, and began to raise their 4 children in Madrid and Rota, Spain. After moving to the USA in 1967, they came to reside in Scaggsville, MD, where they would share life together until Roy's death in 2005 and where she continued to live for the rest of her life.

Consuelo was an excellent cook. Her paella and tortillas were legendary. She sewed beautiful curtains and made many of her children’s clothes.   Her home always smelled delightful as she loved pretty scents of every kind. Consuelo’s generous and compassionate spirit echoed through every part of her life. She was faithful about her relationship with Jesus Christ, her Lord and Savior and was a member of the Tabernacle and Emmanuel Church.

Consuelo is predeceased by her husband of 48 years survived by her four children: Linda (Mark)Townsend, Carlos, James and Susan Huffman; grandchildren Rachel (George), Michael (Norah), Matthew, Adam (Tabitha),Jacob and Brian: and greatgrandchildren Amber, Evan and Riley

Relatives and friends may visit Donaldson Funeral of Clarksville P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, MD 21029 on Thursday, August 15 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM where a funeral service will be held on Friday, August 16 at 11:00 AM. Entombment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
