Colleen H. Marrow

Colleen Hill Marrow of Clarksville Maryland peacefully passed away on January 14, 2024. Colleen was born on April 26, 1927, to Wilbur and Esther Dayton.

Colleen was wonderful woman who always had a smile on her face and a contagious laugh. She was a strong, and loving person who dedicated her life to family. She was always supportive of major events of each family member’s life.

Colleen grew up in Brinklow, Maryland and attended Sherwood High school in Sandy Spring.  Later in life, Colleen went to college and earned degrees from Howard Community College and the University of Maryland in Baltimore County and still took courses until she was in her 80’s. She loved learning about history of the world. She also loved to play the piano.

Colleen married Eugene Marrow Sr. on March 5, 1946 and together they had six children.

She is survived by her children; Cheryl Berman and her husband Louis Berman, Eugene Marrow jr., Glen Marrow and his wife Mercedes Gonzalez-Marrow, Pamela Marrow, Jennifer Marrow and Theresa Marrow. She also is survived by her grandchildren; Abigail Watson, her husband Timothy, Amanda Berman and Camilo Gonzalez, his wife Anna. Colleen also had six loving great grandchildren; Lilianne, Nicholas, Mila, Ella, Elias, and Anais. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Eugene Marrow Sr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Mt Zion UMC, 12430 Scaggsville Rd, Highland, MD 20777 at a later date.
