Charles "Charlie" Mcfarland

Charles “Charlie” McFarland of Bel Air, Maryland passed away peacefully on July 25th at the age of 71 after a brief illness. He is survived by his beloved children Amy and Allen (Nicole) McFarland, his three cherished grandchildren Colin, Owen, and Dylan McFarland of Olney, Maryland and his loyal beagle, Annie.

Charlie was a talented engineer who spent most of his long career in the aeronautics industry. He was a very involved dad and grandpa who also enjoyed reading, listening to music, discussing (and debating) current events, and talking about growing up in Northern Ireland.

Charlie was preceded in death by his brother Thomas, and parents Amanda and Charles McFarland of Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Services will be private.
