Robert Martin Glazier

Robert Martin Glazier, Sr., age 85, of Clarksville, Maryland passed away on October 26, 2019 with his family by his side.  Bob was born in 1934 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Frederick Mangold Glazier and Cecilia Margaret Glazier. He served in the U.S. Navy reserve. Later, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving as an airborne radio operator on the Grumman Albatross in air/sea rescue missions. He retired from the U.S. Government, following a career as a printing procurement specialist. He was a life-long ice hockey fan, in addition to many other sports. Upon his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf with friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Bette Joan, brother, Jack Glazier of Eldersburg, Maryland, sister, Peg Lajara of Melbourne, Florida, devoted children, Roberta Vernon (Allen) of Ocean City, New Jersey and Robert Glazier Jr. of Gaithersburg, Maryland, and grandchildren, Haley and Kurtis, who were his pride and joy. He was preceded in death by both parents and his older brother Fred.
