Edgardo was born in San Nicolas de Los Arroyos, Argentina. He was the 8th of 15 siblings who loved one another and were always present in each other’s lives. He was an adventurous person with an entrepreneurial spirit who moved to Buenos Aires at a very young age. He served in the Argentine Military where he was a medical assistant. He immigrated to the United States when he was in his 30’s accompanied by his best friend Pepe Jimenez, both in search of a better life for their wives and daughters. He moved his young family to New York City and became a jeweler and goldsmith and went on to own his own jewelry store on 6th Avenue, New York. He designed and handcrafted beautiful pieces of jewelry throughout his career. He lived many years in New Jersey before relocating to Maryland after retirement. He traveled every year to Argentina and maintained close and loving ties to his homeland and family. He instilled values of love, sacrifice, hard work, and integrity in all of us.
