Columbia Anne Dyson quietly passed away during a snowstorm surrounded by loved ones after living a full and rich life. Coincidently, Columbia was born during a snow blizzard in Albuquerque, New Mexico, happily and gently entering life. Always observant of nature’s beauty, she enjoyed yoga and the outdoors. She always loved children, either baby-sitting or working at Bet Yeladim preschool. Columbia attended Hammond High School, where she played volleyball and was Captain of the Junior Dance Company, graduating in 2016. She grew quickly into a lovely, strong and empathetic woman, choosing to serve others by studying Nursing at Duquesne University. At Duquesne she joined the Alpha Omicron Pi (AOII) sorority, enjoying leadership positions and making forever friends. Columbia is survived by her parents Casey and Craig, sisters Amanda, Brooke, and Isabelle, boyfriend Eric, cats Daisy and Mack, a loving extended family and many close friends.
