Mary Ann R. (Reinhardt) Murphey

On November 20. 2020, Mary Ann R. Murphey Age 80 of Highland, MD passed away due to complications from atypical Parkinson’s disease.  She was born in 1940 to George Reinhardt and Helen Smythe Reinhardt in St Louis, MO. Mary Ann was a member of St Louis Church in Clarksville, MD and a member of the Divine Mercy prayer group. She retired from teaching in 1980 to concentrate on her family.  She enjoyed all manner of painting using oils, acrylics, pastels and watercolor plus pen and ink drawings and other techniques.  She is survived by her husband Leon J. Murphey of Highland MD, her daughters Patricia Ann Walton of Raleigh NC and Tiffany Ann Murphey and her Husband Michael Moran of Ellicott City MD, her grandchildren Bailey and Jack and Mary Katharine and her great granddaughter Olive.  Visitation will be at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, MD.  Memorial donation may be made to the Parkinson’s foundation at https://www.parkinson.org/ways-to-give .

Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday November 24 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the Donaldson Funeral Home of Clarksville, P.A., 12540 Clarksville Pike, Clarksville, Maryland 21029. Social distancing and masks are required. A funeral mass will be offered on Wednesday, November 25 at 10:00 a.m.  St. Louis Catholic Church, 12500 Clarksville Pike (21029). Interment Quantico National Cemetery, 18424 Joplin Road, Triangle, Virginia 22172 on Wednesday November 25 at 2:00 p.m.
