Elias Issa Mansour, 58, of Dayton, MD passed away on April 23. He was born on December 17, 1965 to Issa Elias Mansour and Siham (Khoury) Mansour in Jerusalem.
Elias leaves behind a legacy of commitment and love for his wife Karran Phillips Mansour, and children, Issa and Madeleine Mansour. His joy and enthusiasm was most apparent when he and Karran nurtured Issa and Maddie’s love of hockey and other competitive sports. Always supporting and encouraging them enthusiastically along the way. A testament to Elias’ gentle spirit and love of family shows most brightly in the kind, compassionate individuals Issa and Maddie are today.
Elias, always with Karran’s thoughtful support, loved hosting warm gatherings centered around tradition and service to others. He fostered many deep rooted relationships with neighbors, colleagues and classmates that became his lifelong friends. He was witty, generous and had unforgettable, gregarious personality that filled up the room. He was not only a beloved husband and father, but a son, eldest loving brother to his four sisters, wonderful brother-in-law, cousin, uncle and dear friend to so many.
Elias is survived by his wife, children and sisters, Vera Mansour Rizk, Silvia Mansour Albina, Sandra Mansour, and Laila Mansour Salaita, and his cousins, Basim Mansour and Joanna Mansour. Elias is preceded in death by his parents.
